It’s tough to build a unique and beautiful café racer, it’s even tougher to do it without a limitless budget. Joe Anania, owner of Joe’s V Cycle and lead aircraft technician-turned-motorcycle builder has done it time and time again.
Gaston Vanzet is passionate about motorcycles. He recalls as a teenager when a neighbor received a Honda CB in a crate and how “a cheer would go up when
the bike was first started”. For him painting motorcycles is a “labour of love”.
I spotted this sweet build in the project section of the SOHC4 forum. It’s being lovingly assembled by forum member “Skunkmeister”. He got the bike as a sticker-covered, racer mess.
I just got finished installing Carpy’s café turn signals on all four corners. The fronts were extremely easy to install. It literally took about 10 minutes to remove the stock clunker, screw in the new ones then plug the cables into their respective jacks.
